All of our current PATIENTSTORIES are now available on-line and can be viewed for the purposes of preview and personal learning at no direct cost to the end user. These versions cannot be played at full screen and are intended for very limited use.
Please don’t use them within formal organisational, educational or commercial training contexts without buying the appropriate licence as you will be in breach of our copyright.
We are very keen for our films to reach as broad an audience as possible. So if you wish to use one or more of our films across your organisation in a development programme either in face to face sessions or in e-learning; or if you are an educational institution providing formal learning or training programmes, we would require you to purchase an appropriate licence. These can be ordered online here.
Once a licence has been purchased (typically for a period of 3 years) you will receive a downloadable link with both an MP4 media file of the film/s and a PDF of the accompanying Facilitators’ Guide/s (available with Alexandra’s, Julie’s, Beth’s and Paul’s Stories). A number of our patient stories come with additional films offering analysis, case studies, discussion and further exploration of the themes addressed.
Educational licences can be purchased either for a single patient story, eg Beth’s Story, or for a collection of patient stories, eg the Testimony Series. Licence periods are typically for 3 years but you can also purchase for 5 years or as per your requirements – just email us for a bespoke agreement.
Please view our Terms and Conditions for further clarification, and also read some background on how PATIENTSTORIES operates as an independent social enterprise.
If you would like to discuss your usage and licence options, or have any further questions, please email info@patientstories.org.uk.
